Shop The Biggest Trends From VAMFF Opening Event
Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival 2014 kicked off with a bang last night, with celebrities and models including Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox walking the catwalk to showcase some of this season’s biggest trends.
There’s no denying the immense selection of blacks, leather look detailing and vibrant shades of red, as just some of the key trends for A/W 2014.
Sleek textiles and tailored silhouettes were worked into womens clothing in monochrome shades, colour pop hues with accent tribal statement jewellery.
Womens dresses combined loose peplum styles, sectioned skirt pleats and body-con styles, and were contrasted with easy-to-wear leather look leggings, faux fur vests and statement animal prints.
When teamed with classic pumps and neutral make-up it’s all about making these stand out shades of red and black pop in a classic and sophisticated way by teaming them with thin waist belts, vibrant necklaces and chunky cuffs or layering up with a variety of classic jackets for women, including faux fur vests and printed bomber jackets.
