Key Colours for The Trans-seasonal Period
The trans-seasonal period is on its way, with the warm summer weather being mixed with cooler mornings and nights.
So in order to navigate this in-between weather in style, here at ladies clothing boutique AlibiOnline, we are sharing with you some of the biggest colour trends for the summer – autumn season so you can always look stylish and on-trend!
The biggest colour trends are:
Infusing a slight military touch into your wardrobe, khaki is so on-trend and is seen in everything from waterfall jackets, skinny leg pants to casual oversized tees. Khaki looks great when mixed n’ matched with pretty much anything, including black, white, grey and even bold rust.
Taking cues from the 1970’s, rust is adding a subtle touch of colour into our new season’s clothing and we love it. Rust coloured jackets, pants, dresses and tops look great contrasted with fresh whites or bold blacks.
A classic in every woman’s wardrobe, monochrome is timeless and chic. Great to wear no matter what the weather is, you can add pops of colour in khaki, blue or rust, or keep in simple in similar tones. Monochrome looks great with shades of grey, or with black and white layers worn together for a timeless everyday style.
Shades of grey:
Another big trend for the trans-seasonal period that we have no doubt will transfer into autumn and winter is shades of grey. Pops of metallic, lighter shades and dark moody greys are seen in turtleneck dresses, tunics and tops.
Serenity blue was named Pantone’s colour of the year for a reason and we aren’t complaining. The vibrant hue has popped up in statement prints, or worn on its own. The latest collection from FATE sees this colour worked into gorgeous floral prints contrasted with strong black splicing making it perfect for the trans-seasonal period.
